Galileo and GNSS receivers; signal processing techniques; application development for terrestrial, aeronautical and space fields.
DEIMOS activities in the GNSS Technologies section range from GNSS receiver (mainly focused in Galileo and its new issues) at signal processing level to applications development for terrestrial, aeronautical and space fields (varying from classic GPS navigation to more sophisticated applications, such as using GNSS signals for Earth Observation, or radio-frequency relative navigation for formation flying).
In particular, the following fields of activities are performed:
* GNSS (GPS and Galileo) receivers Signal Processing techniques
* Navigation algorithms and applications
* GNSS receiver simulation
* GNSS System integrity
* Hybridisation techniques and inertial aiding
Several projects have been undertaken by DEIMOS leading to the production of GNSS System Simulation SW, GNSS receiver SW and Analysis Tools, including also accurate GNSS Environment Modelling and Navigation algorithms.
